London Underground

Londoners with disabilities travel a third less on public transport than non-disabled citizens. We wanted to encourage others to reach out a helping hand.

Transit

Our visuals and messages would take over the London Underground and be everywhere the eye may go. The bright colors and reoccurring visuals lead the travelers through corridors, escalators, and carriage cars, educating them about the needs of all the ridership.

Guerrilla

Not many people know just how challenging it can be to travel with disabilities. These altered maps  display the only stations equipped to accommodate people with certain disabilities. These maps are designed to catch people off guard when they realize their stop is not there.

Spotify Radio

Spotify will play this message while people are near and traveling in the London Underground. Because many people are plugged into their phones while traveling, we wanted to catch their attention and prompt them to look up and around at our visuals and at others to see those in need of assistance.

These pins will help those who need assistance feel more comfortable walking up and asking someone for help. Wearing the pin is a non-verbal sign that you are more than happy to give up your seat, quiet down, make room for a wheelchair and point someone in the right direction.

Ambient

Mirrors are one of the best ways to get someone to look up. Our mirror display will prompt onlookers to do a self assessment of their own compassion and service. Our mirror will also generate sharable content through social media by capitalizing on the selfie.
